16-35mm Zeiss photos (take 2) help from all would be greatly appreciated

Hi all,

I have gone out and taken my test shots again. my concern is that this lens is soft, and when photographing faces it seems really soft too... if you could take the time to look at these 3 images, but also go to the link to my gallery to view the 14 test shots. It would really mean a lot to me.

If I have a dodgy lens I would want to return it ASAP
