Will shutter shake affect future Fuji X cameras?

With a conventional FP shutter shake is an inevitable consequence of the laws of physics. However, whether its insidious effects are noticeable is a different matter which depends on the design and masses of the camera and shutter, the resolving power of the lens and the sensor concerned and the size of the print required. For example, the M4/3 community has been through a bit of a rough patch over the last few years with some folk seeing the effects of shutter shock with some lenses and others apparently not finding it.
Recently DP Review has started to mention shutter shock in some reviews (e.g. the GX8) and pointedly mentioned that the new Pen F has an electronic first curtain which would eliminate the problem. In fact some of the top end cameras from the leading makes are now appearing with anti-shutter shock features.
Fortunately, there are very few references, if any, in the Fuji forum to shutter shock and this seems to indicate that the vibrations induced by the operation of the shutter have been minimised by careful design.
However, as sensor resolutions inevitably increase with time, and with the very high resolution Fuji lenses, there could well come a point where shutter shock begins to take the edge off the image, at least at certain speeds.
The point of all this is that I hope that Fuji is considering implementing an electronic first curtain on later new models – or even retrospectively on the existing range!
Please don’t get upset as I’m not knocking Fuji – in fact I’ve invested a lot in my Fuji system, which I really love, having gladly left Canon a few years ago. It’s just that I’m hoping that if enough folk highlight this potential problem that Fuji may take due note of it before too long.
Of course, thanks to Fuji continually updating the firmware most of us now have the option of using the electronic shutter which completely eliminates the problem of shutter shock, but which does have a few drawbacks of its own.
If anyone is interested in finding more about shutter shock this link is quite informative:
