I've lusted after a Voigtlander since I first saw the night shots of Manhattan that Bob Tullis used to post on this forum. As a newbie back then, the idea of a manual focus lens (not to mention the cost) deterred me. Then I waited, and waited, until Voigt announced something that pandered to my UWA addiction. And finally, shortly after Xmas I pulled the trigger on this lens which has driven me out into the cold winter nights and has barely been off my camera since the day it arrived.

Reviews of the lens were mixed but nothing spectacular. I've found the lens a joy - sharp, crisp and clean. The starbursts are great fun and one of the features. Here is a selection of (too many) shots from my first outing to my most recent. I hope you enjoy them.

Please take the trouble to view the original size - DPR has been mangling the thumbnails and gallery views really badly in the last few weeks.
