You could always pop on the 200-500, put it on DX mode and pop on a couple of Nikkor 2X convertors ;-) Cheers, Jack

it's close focussing at the 2000mm mark is not great :o  So, for macro photography (at the long end) you have to hope you've got at least 3 or so yards to play with/in :) ….  I took this shot of ...

Hi Man, Have had a pre-production K-1 in the shop for the last couple of days and had a wee fiddle with it and the 28-105 lens.    Tis a bit of, IMHO, a beasty, size wise anyhow :)  But, still ...

… I did a thorough search D_M_N and, unfortunately, it appears that there's no way to denigrate a Pentax image with a Canon lens ;(    You can go the other way and vastly improve a Canon image ...
