Sensory Overload in Nature

Challenge #190 in the Life in the Natural World series. Hosted by RuthC.
Challenge has finished
Sometimes nature can overload our senses, so we lose the ability to appreciate its beauty and magnificence. Nature's natural colours can be very flamboyant, or geographically, a landscape can so huge and inspiring, (the Grand Canyon or Niagara Falls), deserts can be too vast, oceans too deep, that we lose our sense of perspective. Very vivid flowers, or brilliant autumn leaves might be examples of this sensory overload. In your entry, let NATURE take centre-stage, so don't saturate your image in post-processing. Vivid sunrises and sunsets should appear natural. This is a NATURE challenge, so humans, man-made structures should be minimal, and no domestic pets. Macro and close-ups welcome. Size of entry, 1,600 pixels on its longer side.
