The Microsoft Business Intelligence roadmap is rarely well understood;
On premise we have SharePoint 2013 and improved BI functionalities in SharePoint 2016; in the cloud we have PowerBI ; PowerBI itself has been refactored by Microsoft with huge differences between PowerBI v1 and PowerBI v2. This will be clarified in this session where Serge Luca SharePoint MVP) and Isabelle Van Campenhoudt (SQL Server MVP) will describe the Business
Intelligence functionalities of SharePoint 2016 , the improvements when compared to SharePoint 2013; in the second part of the session the new version of PowerBI (V2) will also be illustrated and explained in a nutshell, including hybrid scenarios.
Session 2 (Jamie McAllister);
Migration, maintenance, upgrades, and reorganization can all result in content changes. Whilst third party tools can assist the content management process, sometimes simpler tools can be very effective. In this session Jamie highlights his favorite techniques for managing content with Powershell.

Best to be here by 5:45pm, grab a drink and find a seat. The first presentation starts at 6pm sharp.
How long are the presentations?
We are on a strict schedule with the first presentation kicking off at 6pm sharp. Each presentation is about 20 minutes long, plus a few extra minutes for Q and A. We're aiming to be wrapped up by 8pm.
