Fujifilm X100T

Announced Sep 10, 2014 •
16 megapixels | 3 screen | 35 mm

There is something alive about the pictures that I get from this camera.  It may be the only mechanical thing that I feel emotionally bonded with. This is the camera that I use 90% of the time.  For those considering the X100 series, there are three "if's". (1) If you like to take pictures of people (2) If you don't need pictures of action (focusing isn't super fast) (3) If you don't mind ...

This camera is full of wonderful surprises - the pictures I take with it. I couldn't be happier. It might even be one of those cameras in which the manufacturer got everything just right. (Cameras like this remind me of the story of earlier Fuji cameras F30, F40fd, and F50fd. Apparently, Fuji got it just right with the F30. Later "improvements" resulted in poorer performance.) One thing's for sure, after a year on the market the price hasn't changed. That might be the camera's greatest ...

A big fan of direct vision cameras since I learned to use my father's Leica IIIf and Kodak Retina IIIc, I got me a used Leica M as soon as I could. The compact size and simplicity of the M's were an inspiration to hit the streets and use them. When the X-Pro1 came along, and knowing I could not afford the price of digital M Leicas, I knew I must have it and eventually did. However it paled in performance to the X-E2 that I had purchased one year before. Frankly it disappointed me with its ...

Just wanted to add my findings to the review section, might be helpful for other X100T owners, at least not harmful... ;) I thought some of you Amateurs like me out there, might be interested to know of the views and thoughts of a new happy user of the Fujifilm X100T. So since I own this camera now too and had some fun time using it in Germany and Croatia, here are my: Settings/Suggestions/Considerations/Wishlist My Settings Guide: Power Management: High speed On (no compromises on speed, if ...

Nice vintage look. Very compact--can fit in a coat pocket. The out of camera images are superb--the best in any camera (compact or dslr). The lens is amazingly razor sharp. Excellent hybrid viewfinder--why didn't other camera companies think of it? All the dials that you need will make you forget the menu--iso, exposure, etc. Everything is just right and great. I just hope the next generation will offer touchscreen. I think this camera will be with me for a long long time. Thank you ...

Played with a pre-production sample of X100T 3 and half days and compared it to older model X100S and also (just a bit) to X100. The camera is simply amazing. Although it is not a revolutional product, almost everything is better than ever before and there are many new features. I DO love the Classic Chrome film simulation.
