I believe those new Nikon models are having only one Auto AF Fine Tune Adjustment value which you can do already manually for any lens.
-
Believe it or not but there are differences of how the glas construction is rendering an image or why doesn't perform a cheap 18-200mm Tamron lens like a expensive 70-200mm f/2.8 lens? It is not...

He probably means the color rendering of Sigma lenses which to my impression looks sometimes a bit cold.

"I agree take it out or make it good." Thumbs up!

"Over time, maybe the competition improved, but not enough to make a switch over." Once you have invested in expensive and good lenses switching for a certain feature set becomes a silly thing. A...

And what does that say? Let's wait for sales and market share before fading the applause in.

That would be the best thing. The lens is already mounted to the body and the camera checks four different distances which are written into the lens correction of the lens chip. Nothing which would...

Go to Ricoh and tell them to boost the sales with their K-1. Then eventually Sigma and Tamron are interested.

Then removing the video features entirely would make sense - get it straight to the point and you have no consumers whining about because the message would be clear. But not doing anything for...

Then Pentax users should request to Pentax to remove all Video capabilities from their cameras as their users are constantly repeating that Pentax is not made for video. The same happened already...

In terms of a body yes... if you look only at the sensor performance it doesn't make a huge difference. But that is the same with Sony, Canon, Fuji, Olympus, ... you can get with all those sensors...

-
They have improved a bit in marketing... http://www.pentax.com/en/k-1 ...although i don't believe their story about making the K-1. It sounds too naive for me.

No brand is better than the other one but Pentax users won't get it. I don't see fans of other brands getting that fanatic about their gear. Ok the price is nice for a K-1 but if your product...
