Challenge #30 in the The Landscape Club series. Hosted by Bren Dyer.
Challenge has finished
Throughout history the sweeping vistas of fields and grasslands with or without animals have been a subject for art. Early humans drew bison and other game in the grasslands on cave walls. Monet, Renoir, Dupre and Van Gogh all visited this scene and interperated it their own way. The Renaissance art movement had many fine examples of pastoral scenes. Even Windows XP had their own version with Bliss, photographed by Charles O'Rear. The challenge is to capture a pastural scene. No houses, no buildings, just rolling fields. Please no "lone tree" images. if the field(s) is/are not the subject matter the image will be DQd.
