The Hawk, officially known as the MIM-23, is a mid-range anti-aircraft system manufactured by the Raytheon company.
The Hawk was first used in combat during the Six Day War in 1967.
During the War of Attrition (1967-1970), the Hawk shot down 12 enemy aircraft.
During the Yom Kippur War in 1973, the Hawk shot down 20 enemy aircraft.
