Fuji WiFi - what's the deal?
Fuji WiFi - what's the deal?

Just tried transferring images from my new X70 to my iPad Mini and iPhone 6s Plus running iOS 9.2.1. After many tries I gave up as the camera and app failed to connect. Setting the camera wifi on, choosing that access point on iPhone and then trying to connect with the camera app is a ridiculous process, especially because the timing is so brief. I see that Nikon's new D500 has a new transfer technology so your device can stay connected to the Internet.
I finally put the SD card in my RX100III and had no problem connecting and uploading images. I was not aticipating to have to carry a second camera just to use WiFi to edit and upload my images. I have an iOS card reader but it uses the old connector, not the new lightning connector. Guess I'll have to fork out for a new Apple card reader.
I hope Fuji fixes this in firmware soon.
If anyone has an idea of what I might be doing wrong or a workaround I would certainly appreciate any advice.
Thanks much!
Michael
