Cars parked out in the sun can get pretty hot. Heat definitely damages your equipment. I would not leave camera gear in my car 24 hours a day. Of course if your car is always in the shade like the ...

For some reason, a new body always appears more tempting. I upgraded finally from an E-1 to a PRO 2. That is at least a couple camera body generations. There was enough of a difference in ...

That's a big project - scanning slides. I'm still working on that. Although I have an automatic feeder, not all slides are perfectly flat. Some packages of slides go though easy, some every slide ...

Curious. Why a different ISO setting for the different lenses ?

You need to get some experience using the new sensor on the PRO 2 as well as that joystick. That way when you buy the T2, you will easily make that transition. Don't hold back .... you deserve it ...

Great answer :) You obviously have some prior experience. Lets hope the T2 looks similar enough to the T1 to get away wish this scheme.

I agree with blessingx about waiting on 23mm purchase. The FUJI rumored lens map shows a 23mm/f2 end of April to May timeframe. It will be smaller and therefore lighter as well. It may also be ...

Your comment: "As I have said often, the Founding Fathers who wrote the Constitution were not that bright." Not exactly flattering. They weren't perfect by any means, but I doubt under the same ...

Read that the demand for olive oil is so high that most of it is comes from all over the world and is mixed so it no longer is pure and fresh. Here in the US the best olive oil is supposed to come ...

My only experience with Canon was the small sensor POWERSHOT series. I still have the POWERSHOT PRO 1. Canon used L glass for that one fixed lens compact. Phenomenal sharpness and amazing ...

Lets not have any pretense that a blurry photograph is somehow equivalent to this painting. Brush strokes have their limitations, and an artist's ability to render this painting is a bit different ...

Really. Compared to what ? My cat started to yawn and I raised camera and pushed shutter button. I hate posting a cat picture, but I do it to illustrate the point. There was no hesitation. The ...

Interesting comment about using the 18mm and the crop factor of the 24MP. Haven't tried my 14mm yet on the PRO 2. I better check it out. Been having too much fun using the 35mm on the PRO 2.

What about lenses ? Do you have more than one lens for each of your systems ? Sounds expensive to be chasing the latest camera body all the time.

It's true, one's eyes do play a major role in the perceived quality of the image. Your so damn logical, but your right, as usual, about the limited parameters and conditions used. It's the only ...
