Same here, contrast sale.

I'll take the better DR and PDAF of the a6300 along with the ability to swap lenses over a goofy super zoom.

Sony says its $1200 in the presser

Interesting perspective, I'm on the fence with the a6300 since I shoot a lot of video and some issues are surfacing. I might get one to use as my high FPS/sports body, but the warts are keeping me ...

Absolutely worth the cost, buy used and save hundreds. Like others say, it's the best APS-c lens Sony makes IMO.

Cine 4 and Autumn Leaves gets you nice results. I'm not much for Slog myself, those are the two I always use.

The A7rII does the same thing, I'm convinced it's heat related. Its annoying. I don't think it will be fixed until the next model.

If it doesn't exhibit this behavior with MF, I would say its focus breathing as the AF-c is making tiny adjustments. But yes, if you're on a tripod turn off IBIS as well.

I do the tilted horizon at infinity as well, got a nearby parking garage and a great view of the city in all directions from the top floor.

The FE is worse than the Canon 16-35/4, above 28mm the FE has a drop in performance and its nothing great outside of the center once you get close to 35mm. It costs more than the Canon which is...

BTW, I'd take the two Fuji 2.8 zooms over the E-mount F/4 zooms - especially the awful 24-70 and the 70-200 that's not really a 70-200 (tests show the Canon matched its FOV at about 170mm), they're...

NX1 noise is ugly once you hit 3200, the a6300 is much cleaner and handles moire much better IMO. The tracking abilities of the a6300 are unmatched, so is its ability to adapt lenses and use focal ...

"mediocre lens on bigger sensor will always beat out good lens on smaller sensor" So funny because its so wrong. Cheers

Does anyone really care what he (or anyone else for that matter) shoots?

I own both APS-c and FF, including the A7rII, the difference isn't that dramatic and much of it is in the lenses. I'd take Fuji's $700 23/1.4 over Sony's overpriced $700 35/2.8 just for the extra...

I'm not an obsessive pixel peeper by any stretch - hell I use the 10-18 and its smeared corners all the time - but what if you pay $1500 for a lens that's visibly softer on one side? That happened ...
-
If you buy a FF Sony, lenses aren't cheap. The FE55 is far better than the mediocre plastic fantastic Canon 50/1.8 and it'll AF at a decent speed on the A7r. Adapted lenses are painfully slow with ...

D800 had AF recall issues and D750 had a light leak issue that was also recalled. I wonder what's going to fail on the d500?
