DPR users turn discussions into headaches

DPR is an interesting place, but it seems that people are so polarized here, that it is nearly impossible to have a civil discussion about the merits, or disadvantages on anything. I feel like people are just screaming what they like at one another. I've yet to witness one single discussion here. Does anyone know of any sites that have people who can discuss things (and stay on point) without becoming emotional? If so, please share them with me!!!!!
