Are you asking if 2.8 FAST enough? What kind of indoor shots are you taking? Will the 25mm be wide enough?
-
Just be careful. This camera is so good that when or if you decide you've outgrown it, you may have to spend more than you thought to match it, let alone beat it. Have fun!
-
And 43rumors did not put much stock into it, calling it more of a wish list.

Look at what someone was able to do without a DSLR and without a 35mm sensor. Sometimes I wonder what we would have by now if Canon had never produced the Digital Rebel and DSLR's had never ...

Well done! Shots like this are why I always feel confident that the LX100 will help me get the shot.
-
Androole, have you looked at the Pentax K1?
-
Sony is an electronics maker with bodies to sell and hardly any lens to go with them. Sony needs those adapters Ina way that Pentax never will.
-
If your complaint is about the camera. Bodies come and go but lens are forever. As others have pointed out, anyone who needs this lens will use it with whatever body the have on hand. I don't ...

"Get them printed!" Absolutely! Nothing I've shown any other way gets the same reaction as the 13x19 prints that I make.

I think the next K will be a move up, not down. K1 is lower at launch than the entry level Canon and Nikons were at their launch. If they launch an entry level 35mm at $1300, they might have to ...

This is VERY aggressive pricing, and raises questions for future product pricing. Will Pentax offer a lower priced option to compete with Nikon and Canon's flagship pro sports units? What will be...

My last film camera system was a medium format system. At PhotoPlus, I told the Canon rep holding a 1DX what I shot in film days, and he said, "Okay, you served."
-
Don't tell me, tell everyone else wailing about the price!
-
I find the wailing about the price the most amusing thing of all. Not because I'm flush with money, but because we've all seen this pricing scheme from every manufacturer. High opening, followed...

Pen owners have been begging for a built in EVF, plus they now have a more responsive machine that appears to be smaller than the GX8. Comparing the Pen F to the OMD series is missing the point.
-
So I purchased the GX-7 with a kit lens in the fall, and over time I have bought the 42.5/1.7, the 45-150, a and the 12-35/2.8 at sale prices. There's enough of a difference (to me) that I still ...

This commentary would have been a great addendum to the review of the LX100. I remember the howling when DPR gave it an 85. I let my sister borrow it when the battery in her Dslr died. Health...
-
In October I "broke in" my GX7 by taking company photos for the call center for which I work. I'm not part of the promotional department, but my supervisor had seen my work and recommended me to ...

Nikon still has 7100's to unload. Check B&H as an example. If there's a reason the 7200 has held its price, it's because Nikon has a lot more old stock to get rid of than Canon.
-
I don't think the D500 will have a great effect on D5 sales. It may have an effect on D600 and 700 series sales. Even with lower priced entry level 35mm cameras, I still equate 35mm digital with ...
