Q:  Is Diet Soda okay?

A:  On occasion, it’s not harmful, but I wouldn’t consume diet soda in large quantities.  Here’s an article that explains why…

Q:  How safe is the Paleo diet?

A:  This is another fad diet that has gained in popularity.  There’s no scientific data that supports it, and this recent study in mice will convince you that it’s not the answer.

Q:  Will cayenne pepper cause me to lose weight?

A:  If only it were that simple…  Cayenne pepper is not a miracle food, and by simply ingesting it, you will NOT lose weight.  (If it truly was the answer, every doctor, dietitian, nurse, etc. would be promoting it, and I would own stock in it!)  For successful weight loss, it’s all about taking in fewer calories than your body is used to.
