Act of photography more important than result
3 days ago

I don't care if I have talent or if I am a good photographer producing good photos. To me, the act of photographing and post processing is almost more important than the result. Why is everyone on a race trying to get better than before or against others? I enjoy the relaxing or challenging time with photographing and that I explore the world and photography techniques. And I don't want be limited by gear and I try to achieve best quality results where I can, why not?!

I can see hoe people post that gear isn't important. Maybe not for him or for a specific photography genre. This is not the question here. Too many forget that not only talented and rich people do photography. Even with a smartphone you can do photography, a little limited, but that doesn't matter in first place.

My point is just, many enjoy doing photography itself, not for the results. Just stop talking about importance of gear or talent.
