A drama based on a cyber investigation squad. Kim Woo-Hyun is the only son of a high ranking police officer. Woo-Hyun entered the police academy ranked first and graduated from the academy ranked first. As a detective, he then joins the cyber investigation department. Woo-Hyun then works to reveal the secrets of those that hide within the cyber world. Written by lolz-killer
Compare to other over the top melodramatic Korean TV drama serials, I found this one fairly good? Good as in fairly low key, technically savey, pacing is good, takes it time for background story, and doesn't spend too much time developing forced love interests.
So not really understanding the low score here ??? The premise centres around cyber investigation squad and a series of murders. There's a bit of a lift from a John Woo movie, but once you have accepted that part to "work", it is all good.
There are tense moments, attack and counter-attacks, rivalries, trickery, out-thinking within characters, all very well done. There's also the mole inside the police aspect that keeps the tension alive.
The villain especially well played. The main male lead actually so so for me. I like the "Bull" Sargent a bit more.
Now there's a series of short court room scene at the end that is kind of odd, but not knowing the Korean system I can not comment. Odd as in no objections of some comments and accusations.
Together with Iris these 2 are the better ones I have seen from Korean TV.
