“Walking Dead” creator Robert Kirkman is no longer involved in writing the next batch of “Transformers” movies for Paramount. In fact, he said he was only in the writers’ room for one day before a health issue required him to walk away from the project. “I have to say, I was only in that room for a day before I found out that I was having my throat surgery that kept me out of Comic Con,” Kirkman told Collider at the 2016 SXSW Film Festival.
