Luke O'Brien, a washed-up salesman turned night law student, decides to sue Satan for $8 trillion dollars. On the last day before Luke files a default judgment, Satan appears to defend himself. On Satan's legal team are 10 of the country's best trial lawyers. The entire world watches on Legal TV to see who will win the Trial of the Century. Written by Susan Fisher
Luke O'Brien, a washed out Christian decides to sue Satan (played wonderfully by Malcolm McDowell) for $8 trillion dollars - blaming him for all of the world's problems. Is Luke in over his head when the devil actually shows up to defend himself in court? It's the trial of the century and a trial of good vs. evil. We learn that Luke is a man who has done things he would rather people did not know about and like most of us can only blame himself for. This is more than just a court trial - it's an examination of ourselves and the world we live in. A very entertaining and important movie that should be seen by all.
'Suing The Devil' is my favorite movie of 2011. 9 / 10
