Honors Program Courses and Colloquia

Honors Program students must take 4 departmental honors courses and 2 colloquia in order to satisfy the Honors curriculum.  Many honors courses are honors versions of general university courses.

Honors course enrollment is limited to 20 students.

Honors courses and colloquia are reserved for students in the Honors Program; however, a student who maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or above may be given special permission by the Honors Program Director for admission into an honors course.

The Honors Program Director works with the department chairs and college deans in matters of course and colloquia proposals, offerings, sectioning and honors faculty teaching assignments.

All honors courses are approved by the Honors Council, the Academic Affairs Committee and the Faculty Senate.
