Graduate Admission Process

To meet the needs of working professionals, DSU aims to make the admissions process straightforward and simple.

For admission to graduate study at DSU @ Wilmington, you need to show evidence of having earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, meet other criteria required of each program and possess the ability to carry out graduate work of high quality. You should review admissions deadlines and requirements for the program to which you are applying. Follow these simple steps to apply to and register for a graduate program at DSU @ Wilmington.
 

1. Complete an online application  

A $50 application fee is required.
 

2. Submit official transcripts and test scores 

  • Submit official transcript from each college or university attended and official test scores to:

Office of Admissions 
Attention: Graduate Admissions 
Delaware State University 
1200 N. DuPont Hwy
Dover, DE 19901 

Prospective students must arrange for the official transcript(s) and standardized examination scores to be forwarded to the above address.
 

3. Register for Classes 

Your program director will provide you with information on how to register for classes.
 

4. Complete New Graduate Student Orientation

Non-Degree Seeking Students

If you choose to take one or more courses before applying to a graduate program, we can support you on that path.
How to register for courses:

  1. Search for classes
  2. Apply (application)
  3. Pay your bill
  4. Enroll at DSU!
