Dr. Bill H. Means
Director
Director
Dr. Means has over 20 years experience in the career development field. His experience has included positions at Johnson C. Smith University, Livingstone College, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, INROADS/Charlotte, Inc, Queens University of Charlotte and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Dr. Means has earned a BS in Psychology from Tennessee State University, a MA in Adult/Higher Education from North Carolina A&T State University and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His memberships have included, 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte, Alpha Phi Alpha, Inc., NASPA and NACE. He is a former board member of the YMCA of Greater Charlotte. He hails from Charlotte, North Carolina and has one son, Burton Means.
Ryane Cheatham, EBMS
Career Coach
Ryane Cheatham is currently the Career Coach at Delaware State University. She is a 2012 graduate of Delaware State University with a Bachelors in Music Business and a Masters in Entertainment Business from Full Sail University. Ryane has worked for Delaware State University since 2013 in Conferences and Events and has recently been promoted to Career Coach in the Office of Career Services. Ryane is member of the Dover Chapter of the Lion's Club International.
Da'Rius Lemon

Da’Rius W. Lemon is currently the Internship Coordinator at Delaware State University. He is a 2007 graduate of Delaware State University with his Bachelors of Science in Sports Management. Da’Rius has 8 years of experience working in the Human Services field. Prior to joining DSU, Mr. Lemon filled a role as a Service Coordinator with Wraparound Delaware monitoring youth with low level adjudication from the State of Delaware. Mr. Lemon has an 85% success rate as a service coordinator, rehabilitating youth that entered his program through Wraparound Delaware." Prior to Wraparound Delaware, Mr. Lemon worked as Athletics and Program Director at H. Fletcher Brown Boys and Girls Club in Wilmington Delaware. He is a proud member of Stop the Violence Coalition, Boys Scout of America (Eagle Scout) Northern Delaware Football Officials Association and Delaware Afro- American Sports Hall of Fame Inc.

Darlene Ashley joined Delaware State University in March 2015 and has over 12 years experience in the human resources profession. Prior to joining DSU, Mrs. Ashley worked as a contractor for the State of Delaware through Transcore International as a operations administrator serving as liaison between Transcore corporate human resources and the Dover office. Prior to Transcore, Mrs. Ashley worked as a staffing coordinator for Manpower, Inc. in Dover, Delaware. With Manpower, Mrs. Ashley hired temporary and permanent employees for a variety of organizations. Currently, Mrs. Ashley is completing her Associates in Business Administration at Delaware Technical Community College, Dover, DE.
Jacqueline C. Hendy

Administrative Secretary
Jacqueline Hendy joined Delaware State University in March 2016 and has over 20 years of vast customer service in major companies, such as Moody’s Investors, Verizon Corporation, and American Express. Jacqueline was born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina but was reared and educated in New York City. She earned her Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Bernard Baruch College in 1998. Prior to joining Delaware State University, Mrs. Hendy worked as a front desk receptionist for Pure Wellness Chiropractor and a Lounge Host for Dover Downs Hotel & Casino. She relocated from New York to Delaware in 2008 with her husband and 2 children.
