  Curriculum for Bachelor's Degree in History

A student who chooses this major must complete the requirements of the current history curriculum. A total of 36 hours of history are required and the student must earn a "C" or better in each course. A student must complete History 101, 102, 201 and 202, or 101, 102, 203 and 204, and must also take twenty-four hours on the 300 and 400 levels. In the upper division sections, each student must complete a twelve-hour program of either United States, European, African American, or World History, which will comprise his/her area of specialization. The remaining twelve hours must be taken in areas outside of the field of specialization, including at least three hours in each area.
