DSU Extension's 4-H and Youth Development Program reaches and teaches youth living in both rural and urban areas who are underserved by traditional youth programs. Activities are designed and implemented to teach Delaware youth how to become more involved in their communities by helping them develop the social and developmental skills they need for success in life.

AgDiscovery @ DSU

AgDiscovery is a national, residential summer camp that exposes middle through high school aged students to agriculture careers like animal science, veterinary medicine, agribusiness, plant pathology and aquaculture.

This 2-4 week program allows participants to live on a college campus and learn about agricultural science from university professors, practicing veterinarians, industry representatives, and professionals working for the U.S. government.

Students who participate in AgDiscovery gain experience through hands-on labs, workshops, field trips and other group and team building activities.

View the 2016 AgDiscovery brochure HERE to learn more about the program.
