Sony a6300 or Canon 80D ?

Hi,

I am currently a Canon person - However I am considering a possible swap to Sony - because with my advancing years I would like to have a smaller and less heavy camera.

I shoot mainly stills - Kids - Family - Golf events - Dinner functions - Holidays etc  but  not video as I have a separate Video Camera/Camcorder.

However I have quite a lot of Canon equipment as follows:

Canon 60D and a Canon 70D with 18-135 f3.5-5.6 IS STM lens

I also have the following lenses:

Canon EF 50mm 1.8 Mark11
Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM
Canon EFS 17-85mm f4-5.6 IS USM
Canon EF 70 - 200mm 4L USM
Tamron AF SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD
Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6

and following Speedlites

Canon 420EX Speedlite
Yongnuo YN565EX

Advice - suggestions - pros and cons would be welcomed and appreciated.
