"Age of Adaline" director Lee Toland Krieger is set to helm "The Divergent Series: Allegiant," the fourth and final film in the "Divergent" franchise at Lionsgate.
Krieger takes over from Robert Schwentke who helmed the second installment "Insurgent" and the upcoming third installment "Allegiant". Schwentke reportedly departed the project because he needed a break after shooting the second and third so quickly.
Production is still on track to start this spring in order to meet next year's June 9th release date. Shailene Woodley and Theo James are expected to return for the next film. Douglas Wick and Lucy Fisher are producing.
