2nd thought on my new purchase of 7Dii/100-400 V2 (please comment)

Can some of you more knowledgeable bird/wildlife photographers comment on my situation? I am very happy with my Sony mirrorless cameras, except for bird/wildlife photography. Canon 7DII has a great reputation for this type of photo. So I got myself a 7DII and a 100-400L V2 combo.

This site has great people and I am learning a lot from you guys in the last couple of weeks already. One thing that keeps coming to my mind is that my images don't seem to have the resolution and noise performance I am used to. I tried to convince myself that it is because I am used to Full Frame cameras and the 42MP in my A7RII has spoiled me.

But I just did a comparison on DxO, regarding the following combos: Canon 7DII/100-400V2, Nikon D7200/80-400VR, and Sony A77II/70-400II. Very surprisingly, the Sony combo has the best sharpness.

I don't have a lot of experience on bird/wildlife photos. But I really like it after I used my Sony A7II to get the following shots. Note that this is A7II, not the A77II in the DxO comparison.

Should I get Sony A77II combo instead? Thanks.
