why I will not buy another Digital Camera anytime soon.

The Leica M still does not tell me the shutter speed inside the viewfinder while shooting in manual mode, nor does it have a +- correction dial available when shooting in Auto mode.

(my Leica CL did that in 1973)

The Leica X type 113 has no built in EVF - nor does it allow wide open shooting at all distances.

The Leica Q has no native 35mm lens - nor does it allow wide open shooting at all distances.

Fuji does not make a 23mm f2.0 interchangeable lens nor one with a proper focusing scales for their 100 Series cameras.

it seems Fuji's strategy is that by not making a 23/2.0 available to their interchangeable lens digital bodies they can sell more cameras that way.

Sony has the same strategy as Fuji and does not make a AF 35/2.0 interchangeable lens for the A series.

Olympus has many nifty features that I would like to have but divides them amongst several different camera bodies - No one Olympus body does it all.

Panasonic pimps it's 4K in every camera now, but still can not add proper focusing scales to their lenses.(LX100)

Nikon has had a chance with the Df but missed it by producing a retro styled marketing gimmick - where is the updated version?

Ricoh/Pentax just now discovered that selling a FF digital camera might be a good thing.

But while Ricoh/Pentax formerly had many good things going they now seem to have gotten afraid of their own old GXR glory ... or have decided to go mainstream altogether.

Canon's understanding of innovation seems to be that holding on to the form factors of 1990

is best.
