Amy Adams is heading to the small screen.
The actress has signed on to star in Sharp Objects, the adaptation of the book by Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Dallas Buyers Club's Jean-Marc Vallee has also signed on to direct the high-profile Wme package, which is being shopped to cable and streaming outlets by Entertainment One and Blumhouse Productions.
