We visited the Shambala Game Reserve in South Africa, where we were lucky enough to see rhinos, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, warthogs, elephants, impalas, buffalo, hippos, and wildebeest. Only the lion on this 300,000-acre reserve managed to elude us!

We stayed at the gorgeous Nelson Mandela Centre for Reconciliation--the private home where President Mandela hosted guests like Oprah and the Clintons.
