David Letterman's comedic talk-show after moving to a new television network. He retains largely the same format as the previous 'Late Night with David Letterman.' Written by Tad Dibbern <DIBBERN_D@a1.mscf.upenn.edu>
After a decade of having an extremely funny show, Letterman clearly decided that comedy wasn't important after the move to CBS.Besides making the show all about the fat intern he was screwing, the monologues became almost completely the same every day.I stopped watching after about three years of him telling the same George W. Bush joke every night. It wasn't funny the first time but since he only cared about spreading his commie opinions, he had to ride that joke for years. When I heard that this terrible show was finally going to end I decided to tune in and see if it had changed at all.And wouldn't you know it, two minutes into the show he told the same lame Bush joke!Did he tell that joke every night for a full decade?Ugh.If you never saw this show, you are extremely lucky.
