When Danny Tanner's wife Pamela is killed in an auto accident, he finds himself left all alone to raise his three daughters: D.J., Stephanie, and baby Michelle. Fortunately Danny's hair-obsessed, rock-star brother in-law Jesse Cochran, along with Danny's flamboyant, cartoon loving friend Joey Gladstone, move in to help Danny raise his girls. On the first day, D.J. runs away, and Jesse and Joey find extreme difficulty and anxiety in changing Michelle. Written by <Explorerds6789>
I still remember seeing the commercials that advertised this brand new sitcom coming to ABC. The scene that caught my attention was the diaper- changing scene. This is probably one of the most comic relief scenes ever made in modern times!
In this first episode, the girls are saying goodbye to Grandma Tanner (she'll later be played by a different person). In the original un- aired plot, D.J. tries to pay Grandma $25 to stay, but it's not in the one that aired.
Uncle Jessie soon arrives and then Joey. In this episode, their characters are really established. Danny's maniac-cleanness hasn't taken yet, but it soon will.
Of course, the best scene is the diaper changing scene, but the entire episode is just full of humor! One of the best episodes of Season One.
