I had to share this. I list stock photos at Getty Images and they informed me last night that an E-M1 photo of mine has been licensed for $8,000. My royalty for it is $2,400. It's the most I've ever been paid for a single image and the total amount is obviously way above my usual prices.

I can't post the photo due to contract conditions (the licensee owns the rights for two years), but it was an HDR composite of the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. I took it on my first road trip with the E-M1. The licensee is a financial services firm.

Is that cool or what?
