DearCinema is taking a break!

After bringing out DearCinema.com for eight exciting years, we are taking a break at the moment. We won’t update the website and send out newsletters during the break period.
We do plan to come back pretty soon, however, at the moment we don’t have a definite timeline to announce. We will announce our comeback plan as soon as we’re ready with our new strategy.
We want to utilize the time to redefine our role in the rapidly evolving independent film ecosystem in our country. We started off in 2007 as a niche film review website and gradually expanded our scope of coverage to include news stories, interviews, analyses and guides on different aspects of filmmaking.
We feel that we both need and deserve this break in order to understand the preferences, needs and expectations of our readers. We are going to use the time to directly engage with our readers, »
