Would you buy a stills-only cameras if 10% less expensive?

I don't shoot video with my cameras and have no desire to. Nothing against it, just not where my passion is. I get excited when I hear about a camera maker trying to optimize a camera for shooting stills.

Was wondering if I'm in the minority. Sure I can buy any camera, and just not use video, but I have to think that it could be cheaper and perhaps allow for quicker version iteration and different feature prioritization if these were offered as separate camera lines.

Thoughts?
