Children in Nature

Kids of all ages need to be outside enjoying and being a part of the natural world that surrounds us. Safe, unstructured experiences are also effective ways for kids to explore and learn about the outdoors.

GFP offers programs, resources, activities, and contact information to help you get kids outside and into a world of exploration and discovery.

If you have ideas and suggestions for activities, we'd love to hear from you.

Contacts

Lacking direct experience with nature, children begin to associate it with fear and apocalypse, not joy and wonder.
