ICJ urges action concerning attacks on peaceful demonstrators in Angola and the DRC
The ICJ has forwarded to the Special Rapporteur on the rights to the freedom of assembly and association information concerning recent attacks on peaceful demonstrators and against political activists in Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Angola: ICJ condems the abduction of war veterans in Angola
The ICJ notes with concern reports of the alleged abduction of two war veterans, António Alves Kamulingue and Isaias Sebastião Cassule, in Luanda, on 27 and 29 May 2012 respectively.
