Are there any m-4/3 lenses similar to old 14-54 2.8/3.5

The 14 to 54 seemed to be the perfect compromise for photographers like me. (limited budget)

I still have the original 14-54 which I purchased new for $329. (It was a good deal).  I am disappointed by the limited zoom range on the 12-40. It really turns me off.   Is it not possible to make something like the 14-54 f2.8-3.5 for around $750. That's double what I paid for mine 5 years ago.  They made it before why can't they do it again?

Give me this Olympus and I would upgrade to em-1 or em-5 in a heart beat.

I don't think Panasonic has anything like this either.

All cheaper lenses seem to jump right up to small size but very slow.

Anybody else wishing for something similar?
