Is RX1Rii meeting owner expectations?

I'm working with the RX1R II, writing a book for Friedman Archives, and at this point I'm concentrating more on functionality than actually taking pictures. With the same sensor and AF, I'm confident that the IQ is up there with the A7R II, especially since the lens is fixed and optimized for this particular camera.

I have the A7R II and A7 II, and I was interested in getting an A7R II camera in a smaller, lighter, simpler package with a fixed lens for travel -- that's why I wanted the RX1R II! Remember, the A7r II and the RX1R II have roughly the same price, although the RX1R II lacks IBIS.

However, I've found that many A7R II features are MISSING entirely in the RX1R II. One major issue for me, you can't set the camera up for back-button focus, other than using MF mode with AF/MF Ctrl Hold programmed to a button.

Here is a partial list (so far):

-IBIS (obvious and understandable)
-Focus Mode (can be set only using the dial on camera front, which is very hard to use)
-No Zone focus area, this has gone away...
-Focus Settings feature (not on A6000, either)
-AF Drive Speed
-AF Track Sens.
-Exposure Step (always 1/3 stop, I'm fine with that)
-Picture Profiles 
-Audio Out Timing
-Memory Recall in menu (all we have now is positions 1, 2, 3 on Mode Dial, and no M1-M4 registers, which I actually liked)
-Silent Shutter (RX1R II has a quiet leaf shutter already)
-APS-C/ Super 35mm crop mode
-AF System (because no legacy lenses)
-4K Recording
-Eye-start AF (only for A-mount lenses with adapter, anyway, no way to use these)
-AF w/ Shutter
-No “AF On" function, can’t use BBF (other than in MF mode w/ Ctrl Hold)
