Dear Abandonia visitors: We are a small team that runs one of the largest DOS Games websites in the world. We have only 3 members of staff, but serve 450,000 users and have outgoing costs like any other top site for example: our servers, power, rent, programs, and staff. Abandonia is something special. It is a library of old games for you to download. It is like an old gaming arcade with all the old games in their original format. Abandonia is a place where you can find great old games and have fun four hours and years. To protect our independence, we are dependent of our friends using the site. We run on donations averaging around 6 USD (5 Euro). If everyone reading this gave the price of a cup of coffee, our fundraiser would be made easier. If Abandonia is useful to you, take one minute to keep it online for another year. Please help us forget fundraising and get back to Abandonia.
So what's new? We have two interviews, one with Matthew Stibbe, the founder of Intelligent Games, makers of Azrael's Tear among many other games, and another with Aidan Hughes, the main designer for ZPC (many thanks to Connor Eck, without whom these would be impossible). red_avatar has covered briefly the history of the PC and the Amiga, while The Fifth Horseman looks into the future, to find out if humanity needs a brain transplant. You will discover many other articles and reviews on these pages, several about old and popular classics such as Toonstruck, Cannon Fodder, and Discworld. However, there might be some surprises as well.
Issue #3 (August, 2015) has 57 pages; to enjoy the best quality right-click on the cover and select "save link as" to save a copy on your HDD and avoid using the online reader. Don't forget to leave your thoughts on the forum.

"At times it feels like someone has made a heartfelt attempt to translate the depth and feel of a tabletop rpg on to a computer without fully understanding how either works. Much like Darklands it's an epic adventure that you have to admire for it's sheer scope and ambition even if the technical execution wasn't up to task. With hindsight Knights of Legend tried to do too much with too little, for every high point a player encounters there's a ravine full of rotting corpses around the next bend, and ultimately it paid the price and faded into obscurity."Remember that everyone, even you can write reviews for games that lack one or haven't been uploaded yet. Either offer them in the Offers forum or send them directly to our special collectiveAB@outlook.com email together with your Abandonia username. If you don't have a username, your contributions will be uploaded under the common CollectiveAB profile.

This is because we have gathered a big backlog of extras and archives. We feel that letting them sit and gather dust on the FTP would be slighting our past contributors.
