AMC Entertainment can buy Starplex Cinemas if it divests venues in Berlin, Ct, and East Windsor, NJ, the Justice Department said today. The department and the State of Connecticut filed a civil antitrust lawsuit to block the $172 million deal but proposed the settlement.
