D750 is sealed as well as a 5D3.

You would be wrong. There have been quite a few posts with people who have sold dslrs to buy mirrorless, and then switch back, because while mirrorless systems are quite good, they are not as good.
-
I'm not a video shooter, but did read up on it. The D750 appears to be one of the best FF vid cameras. probably not as good as the best Pannys with 4k, but still quite good. See the Camera store ...

Interestingly in Rishi's exhaustive test of the D750 during it's review, no mention was made of shutter shock, indeed they wax lyrical about it being one of the finest still cameras ever. I have...

It is some bubbles under the black paint outside of the field of view. (edge of the lens.) No one is talking flaking except you.

Build is the only advantage unless you shoot jpg or 12 bit raw. Pro build vs enthusiast. To some it's very important. To others, not so much. Depends on your level of comfort.

If it's outside the light path, its a non issue.

The black paint is to help prevent stray reflections. Why would you presume that? Are you an engineer? If the black paint and bubbles are outside the light path, how could they get worse? I don't ...

Wear and tear, repetitive plugging and unplugging connector into camera. I've had it happen twice on other devices. For my cameras I use a Sandisk reader that incredibly fast and never has to be ...

even if it was 3.0, I would use a 3.0 reader anyway, faster and less wear and tear on the camera.

Other than 4K video, what shots could you take that i couldn't get just as well or better with my D750?

I agree, very long con list for a gold camera. Compare to the D750. 12 bit and battery are pretty bad for this price. Still, the camera appears to be a great addition to the lineup, and Sony is...

I don't think it's ugly at all. having held one though, it's ergos are awful. I could not shoot with one for an extended time. I know Sony is putting all its cameras in the black can, and saving a...

Don't believe it. Not a single sales figure supports that.

That's what I was thinking.

I really have to say the D810 would have done pretty good on this test. It's no d4 but I have a bud who uses one as his back up to a D3s and I never hear him complaining.

Not for me. I maybe old, and my hands shake, but I won't trade away my 750 and glass for anything, muchless a Sony that save me a few ounces, has lousy ergonomics, and does nothing better than my ...
