Key bits and highlights from Stern's daily syndicated radio program brought to television. Very similar to the E! Entertainment Television show he has daily, with a few twists and turns. Written by Anonymous
It seems like many fans were disappointed in this syndicated show's start, complaining that it wasn't any different than the E! version of an already run radio show. So Howard went back and tweaked it a bit; making the segments shorter, adding more effects and graphics, and therefore making it kinetic, in your face comedy and commentary. A week's worth of radio (as well as video-taped bits) was fit into an hour, but it never overflowed.
Some of the most memorable segments of this show were when several radio bits were animated. Take a look at The Backstreet Boy song-parody, "The Gay Way" by the Backside Boys, and tell me that's not hilarious. Or take a look at how BAba Booey *really* eats shrimp! Someday, Howard has to agree to release these on DVD or video. The E! show didn't really pick up the animation slack, now that the syndicated TV show is ended Unfortunately, several stations across America would not carry this show early on, due to a controversial bit involving a female private parts shaving. So a lot of fans and non-fans missed out on some great television.
