How long do news items stay on the site?

The Reuters sites are updated many times a day. The latest news items are published as stories unfold across the globe. Older ones are removed in order to avoid overloading the homepage.

The importance of a story generally governs its longevity on the site. If a story is highly significant, it is likely to remain on the site for one to two days with frequent updates. Less prominent items will be replaced by breaking news stories.

Furthermore, you can view articles for the past few months, by clicking on the Archive link at the bottom of the homepage.
