Joint Standoff Weapon (JSOW)
The AGM-154 JSOW precision strike weapon is a 1,000-pound air-to-surface missile that carries several lethal packages. The weapon’s standoff range of 12 to approximately 70 nautical miles allows JSOW to remain outside the threat envelopes of enemy point defenses while effectively engaging and destroying targets. JSOW is integrated and in operational status on the F/A-18C/D/E/F, F-16, B-52, F-15E, B-1B and B-2 aircraft. Integration is underway on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter.

Fuel Containment (FC) program procures, modifies, and upgrades aerial refueling systems (ARS), external fuel tanks (EFT), and related peculiar support equipment (PSE).

The Precision Strike Weapons Program Office, PMA-201, is responsible for research, development, acquisition and sustainment of the Navy's air-to-ground precision guided weapons, general-purpose bombs, aircraft armament-related equipment, and all cartridge/propellant actuated devices.
PMA-201 is organized into nine program areas. These teams consist of a multi-disciplinary group of government and contractor personnel who are collectively responsible for the total life-cycle management of the DoN's precision strike weapons capabilities. It has the largest NAVAIR Foreign Military Sales portfolio with 39 coalition partners.
