Many users are reporting that the app won't finish installing. Make sure your storage isn't full in Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage. You can also try restarting your device to see if that fixes it. Unfortunately the app's installation process is out of our control.

I friggin love this app!!!
Now guys, I'm not gonna lie. I am probably the biggest TV shows/Movie fan in the entire world! I absolutely love logging in to IMDb to see what is popular and all of the movies that I can get tickets to. I also automatically get to see the theater times that I am closest to! I get to see all of the latest celebrity status and I get to see what movies that IMDb recommends for me. I lose myself all the time when I look at the interesting trivia of a movie or a star. My only wish is very small, after the new update, IMDb can you please bring back your labels on the cover of awards with the option of seeing the Primetime Emmy Awards? I love this app so much and I know that everyone else will too!
Has become a power vampire
I want to like this app, but it becomes worse every iteration. Plenty of other people have complained about the ads (and I, like them would support an in-app purchase to remove the ads) but one of the recent revision (I'm currently using 6.3) has turned this thing into a power vampire.
If I leave my phone overnight with 50% power, it will be dead by morning --- and Settings' Battery panel will tell me that the culprit is IMDb.
This has happened repeatedly now, not just a one time occasion. So the only way this app is actually usable is to pull it up, read the information you want, then force quit it. This is utterly unacceptable for an app in 2015.
More ads with every update! IMDB is already a giant ad!
Now terrible, unacceptable full screen ads popup and render the app useless unless you can hit the tiny red "x" in the corner. Takes three tries at least. Makes me hate IMDb and anyone who advertises on their platform. Who thought it would be a good idea to give users the worst app experience possible in the name of advertising?
If you haven't noticed, IMDB is just a massive advertisement for movies. But they seem to think they can include pervasive, aggressive third-party ads into the app. It's ads selling ads. When will it end?
