The NX500 is not an entry level camera. A lot of retail stores still carry the A5000.

None  of them are designated "PRO" and some are not great. Example is the FE 24-70, also plagued with 'sample variance.'

The kit 1650 is best suited for the NEX-5R/T in my opinion. Very small overall package, almost pocketable. A very capable combination. The A6000/NEX-6 need a PRO-level kit...where is it, Sony?  ...

I don't know why Sony hasn't got into BSI sensors, except of course the RX100 IV. But Sony is very slow to pick up the amazing new features that are seen on some othder new models, too.

Agreed. The new 20mp M43 sensor in the Pana. GX8 is probably the one that Sony announced, last February. I would have expected more performance from it as compared to the M43 16 mp sensors. Comment?
