Shooting in the "Blue Hour"

Challenge #12 in the The Technique Factory. (Mirrorless or DSLR only) series. Hosted by Bren Dyer.

Moving on from last weeks challenge we will look at the Blue Hour in general. The 'Blue Hour' is a mostly short period of time direct before sunrise and after sunset. The name 'Blue Hour' comes from the blue colored sky. This characteristic blue is based on the fact that there is neither full daylight nor complete darkness as the sun is below the horizon. Research Blue Hour photography to find out more. Must be shot after sunset and before night. Or after night and before sunrise...As this is subjective I will disqualify anything that I feel does not fill the brief.

It was a cold crisp morning at the Trona Pinnacles Park, Trona, CA. The sun has not risen yet, the Milkyway and stars was still faintly visible and yet a bonus shows itself as a shooting star with the magnificent Tufa.
