The Canon 5DS was a flop

Here we are months after the 5DS release and now we see the camera being discounted nearly 1000 dollars off its retail price on Ebay.  Incredible.

Ive been using the Canon 5DS now since it was introduced and my observation is its a wonderful daytime camera.  When it comes to events, you can still use it, but the Canon 5D Mark III is the better tool for the event.

If you enjoy daytime photography or studio conditions with abundance of flash or powerful lights, the 5DS is your tool.  However, as for the low light event...choose something else.

Lets hope Im right and the 5DX or 1DX Mark II comes out SOONER than later.
